CROHNS

Evan Booker

Hermitage, TN

In July 2005, when I was almost 12, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. For several years prior to that I had not been feeling my best. I had vomited and had cramping in my abdomen fairly frequently. Also, at 12 years of age, I was 4’6” tall and weighed only 57lbs. My parents took me to the doctor because I had vomited often, had stomach cramps, and had felt weak. After bloodwork, a colonoscopy, and an endoscopy, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s. The doctors prescribed a program of 6-8 weeks of Prednisone, a minimum of 3 years of a chemotherapy drug, and a drug to prevent the others from upsetting my stomach. My parents and I decided not to follow the doctor’s plan, but instead to search for healing in a more natural approach.

My parents consulted with several people over the last two years who chose a natural approach to health. One of the people who has helped me the most is Ms. Ginny Harper. I have used several different nutritional programs, but I feel that my body started completely healing after changing to macrobiotics. I have also benefited from supplements, including probiotics, digestive enzymes, and anti-inflammatory supplements. Natural food and supplements have helped me so much! I have felt so good! My blood work has been great. I have had lots of energy and no more vomiting or cramping, and I have grown. I am now 5’2” tall and weigh 93lbs! I am so thankful to the Lord, my family, and all of the others who have helped me regain my health.

I would like to thank Ms. Ginny Harper for not only healing me, but also for helping my whole family to become healthier.
